Eli Mardock’s first album, “Everything Happens for the First Time,” was produced by Justin Gerrish (Vampire Weekend, The Strokes). The song by the same name is seems to be part Arcade Fire and part Vampire Weekend. It’s lively and familiar at the same time; a well put-together song.
